Federal Bureau of Investigation Field Office Dallas

DALLAS, TEXAS, USA  This multi-building campus-like FBI facility is situated on a 15-acre site in suburban Dallas. The distinctive five-story, double-winged 250,000 SF building clad in precast concrete metal and glass incorporates a floor plan concept organized around a large inner courtyard, providing employee amenity space and a secure outdoor work environment. The $36 million project, which includes a four story parking structure and landscaped outer grounds, maximizes sustainability through the use of solar shading, high-performance glazing, and recycled materials. Reflecting the Government’s satisfaction with the project the FBI/GSA requested that the developer, architect, and builder (Cowperwood, KMD, and HCB) develop a proposal for a moderately sized multi-level expansion to the facility.
