San Luis Obispo County Government Center

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA, USA  This new four-story administrative office building for the County of San Luis Obispo houses key county executive departments. The 140,000 SF office building is located on a central site in downtown San Luis Obispo. The project is designed to be highly sustainable and energy efficient. One of the primary goals of the project team was to exceed California’s Title 24 requirements for energy efficiency by 25% (which surpasses LEED Silver Equivalency). To that end, the building systems includes concrete frame thermal mass structure, raised access floor systems, and high performance glazing and operable windows.
